A Professional recognized by her peers

Illustration, a work of research and creation, resulting in the visual essence of a text.

The 39 books that I have produced have allowed me to acquire a perect mastery of this Art. Many have been commissioned for  large international publishers, who have entrusted me with the text of famous storytellers and authors:
The Brothers Grimm, Hans Christian Andersen (translated into 12 languages), Oscar Wilde, and Rudyard Kipling, not forgetting of course my first book, The Christmas Story (translated into 7 languages).

Through my interest in research, graphic composition and my innate art of drawing and of course watercolour, I am proud and honored to be part of the very enviable circle of leading international illustrators today.

Discover a number of my illustrations  which have successfully accompanied a genre of literature very popular with children and adults in the gallery below.
The original illustrations presented on this page come from the artist's collection. Some are available among Isabelle Brent's other works, drawings, watercolors and the gilded paintings on vellum, in the gallery/shop.
